‘Beauty and the Beast’ excellent in 3D

And, just like “Lion King,” it’s even better in 3D. I’ve said before that I don’t think every movie needs to be made in 3D. I loved “Titanic,” but I’m not sure I’m going to see it in 3D.
But these animated features that Disney is rereleasing in 3D are extremely well done. As I was leaving the theater, one woman was sitting with her granddaughter applauding when it was over. As I left she was saying how much she enjoys that movie. She saw it alone when it first came out, then took her daughter to see it and now is able to enjoy it with her granddaughter.
Later this year, “Finding Nemo” will be rereleased in 3D. I saw a trailer with “Beauty and the Beast” and “Finding Nemo” is going to be even more fun to watch in 3D.
It’s nice to see that Disney has found a way to rerelease some of its classic animated films so families such as the one I met can continue to enjoy them on the big screen.
