Premiere may offer opportunity to see a Muppet up close

The premiere is taking place at Disney’s El Capitan movie theater at 6838 Hollywood Blvd. The red carpet would be either in front of the theater on the sidewalk or down the center of Hollywood Boulevard.
I still don’t know the time for the premiere, but red carpet arrivals usually begin mid-afternoon or early evening.
You can check out the website http://www.seeing-stars.com/Calendar/index.shtml#premieres for any updates.
This website is pretty cool. It lists upcoming movie premieres and where they will be held, plus tells you who’s about to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame or who’s dipping their hands and feet in cement at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
Premieres are normally preceded with a red carpet arrival of the movie’s stars. Many of them will stop to sign autographs and take pictures with fans lining the red carpet.
Among those appearing in “The Muppets” are: Mila Kunis, Selena Gomez, Amy Adams, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Jack Black, Katy Perry, Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Donald Glover, Mickey Rooney, Liza Minnelli and French Stewart.
If I get an update on the time, I’ll pass it along.
El Capitan is located across the street from Grauman’s and the Kodak Theatre.
“The Muppets” movie is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on Nov. 23.
